Upcoming Deanery Events:

A. Chrism Mass, St. Mary Cathedral, Fargo: MON, 29 MAR at 4:30 PM, followed by Supper for the Priests at 6:30 PM in the Bishop’s Residence.

B. Deanery VII Regional Confirmation, Jamestown: FRI, 09 APR at 7:00 PM.

C. Diocesan Spring Education Days, Carrington: MON & TUE, 12-13 APR 2010.  Fr. Dennis Gill, Archdiocese of Philadelphia Office of Worship, featured.  “Principles of Liturgical Theology as a Foundation to the New English Translation of the Roman Missal.”

D. Deanery Pastoral Council Meeting: THUR, 15 APR at Jamestown.  Priests are to meet at 3:00 PM for Priest Deanery Meeting, and have supper together at 5:00 PM.  The DPC Meeting itself with the Lay Representatives takes place at 7:00 PM.

REC Connections is to take place on SUN, 18 APR from 1:00-7:00 PM at the State Prison in Jamestown.

E. Deanery VII Regional Confirmation, Valley City: SAT, 08 MAY at 10:30 AM.

F. New Roman Missal Workshop, 24-25 MAY (Mon-Tue) 2010 in the Archdiocese of Minneapolis/St. Paul.  Msgr. Anthony Sherman and Rev. Richard Hilgartner of the BCL (Bishops’ Committee on the Liturgy) featured.  Efforts are being made for transportation and lodging for the Priests of our Diocese who plan to attend this meeting.

G. Presbyterate Days, Fargo: 27-29 SEP (Mon-Wed) 2010 at Cardinal Muench Seminary.  Msgr. Michael Magee of St. Charles Borromeo Seminary featured.  “Specific and Significant Changes in the English Translation: History, Theology, and Language.”
